Why should the older kids have all the fun at camp this summer? What about our younger children and us adults? Nanny Pair created “Me & You” Classes where adults can join a child for a morning of fun and adventure!
Adventure Classes: “Science Rocks!”
Science is the knowledge about the natural world based on facts, experiments and observations. Grab your little one and head to the park where we will spend time learning science in the best classroom there is: Mother Nature!
This all encompassing class introduces science to our little ones while we explore our natural world.
We will hike through trails on the hunt for different plant life and treasures, experiment with the forces of gravity and enjoy all the fun that science has to offer while incorporating reading & songs to support emotional and developmental learning.
Caring for our natural classroom and supporting our community is vital for a healthy future so we will introduce our littles to the importance of respecting nature by partnering with The Parklands to help plant new trees, upkeep the community garden, trash pick up on the trails and more. Each week we will explore a new subject and bring out our inner Galileo by crafting, observing and experimenting.
Details: All classes are held outside in all elements. “Rain, snow, wind or shine, we will have a wonderful time!” Regardless of weather we will be outside so please dress appropriately and be prepared to jump in puddles, create mud paintings, and hunt for rainbows.
This class runs as a 6 week session every Thursday starting July 30th – August 3rd from 9:30am-12:00pm.
These sessions are Ideal for adults with their kiddo(s) ages 1-6 years.
We will have access to bathrooms, shade coverings and more.
